My name is Trysta Lee Vandusen, one of the Speech Pathologists at Flourish. I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and received my bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Marquette University in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I then received my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. I began my career as a Speech Pathologist in Chicago, Illinois in a middle school. I also worked part-time at a therapy clinic. I re-located to Columbus, Ohio in June 2017 as a licensed Speech language Pathologist through the State of Ohio as well as hold a certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. I worked full-time in school and part-time at Flourish Integrated Therapy. I enjoy working on social pragmatic skills, early intervention skills, problem solving, critical thinking, early language, AAC, auditory processing, and executive functioning with clients of all ages. Throughout my career, I have worked with patients from infancy to adulthood and in a variety of settings including pediatric clinics, homes, and schools. I recently have moved to Michigan in 2020, but maintain my Ohio License. I currently am providing teleheallth services for a wide range of services.
