My name is Julie Johnson and I am now a speech/language pathologist at Flourish.  I completed an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Bowling Green State University. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, state licensure from the Ohio Board of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology, and a Pupil Services Registration from the Ohio Department of Education. I have served families in the Columbus area for the past 27  years as an SLP in a variety of capacities including through individual therapy sessions, group therapy sessions, preschool programs and parent mentoring and coaching classes.  I have also served the field in that time mentoring fellow SLP’s, graduate and undergraduate clinical students and mentoring clinical fellows during their CFY. I have served families  and clients at  a variety of ages and areas of need and am excited to learn all I can to make a difference.   No matter the approach or program my goal is always the same to provide the very best care using a client and family centered approach
