Hello! My name is Julie Fruchey and I am an Occupational Therapist. My experience has led me to versatility in the field with experience in pediatrics, skilled nursing, acute, and community settings. I excel in patient connection and am committed to further understanding the complexity of the human mind-body connection. I see a perfect fit between a career as an occupational therapist and my interests in neurodevelopment, sensory processing, and motor planning. My passion remained in pediatrics and immensely enjoy helping children achieve their milestones.

I graduated from The University of Findlay in 2017. I am a registered National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy practitioner, as well as the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association.

I heavily believe in play based, child-led, sensory exploring therapy! Foundationally, this will start with creating structured tasks that target skills the child may need to develop while evolving and allowing space for exploration and play. During play based therapy, I strive to teach skills in a fun and engaging way in order to elicit neurotransmitter responses to adjust motor learning given a task.
