Does your child have just a few “favorite” foods? Are you making separate meals at mealtimes? Does your child avoid whole food groups (i.e., vegetables, fruits, meats)? Do they have sensitivity to texture or temperature? Are you worried about what eating meals at school will look like? If so, this is the group for you! Led by both a Speech-Language Pathologist and an Occupational Therapist, this dynamic group will focus on developing the skills that are needed for children to become diverse and confident eaters. Using the concepts of Sequential-Oral-Sensory (SOS) Approach, your child will “play with a purpose” to target improvement of oral motor and sensory skills. Designed for both picky eaters and problem feeders, this group will also give parents the skills to decrease stress around mealtimes and help their children to be successful in eating situations.
