We offer a variety of effective, functional and fun group programs through our integrated team.  Our groups are uniquely designed and held by licensed and certified professionals in the area of Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Literacy Support, Art Therapy, Feeding, and Counseling.

We offer Group Programming for children of all abilities, focusing on skill development through play and fun.  Our skilled professionals have designed groups that assist with social, speech, language, feeding, gross and fine motor, and sensory development in an engaging group setting.

HORSES/ SENSORY GROUP:

 

Hope Anew Holistic Coaching and Flourish Integrated Therapy Introduce:

Sensory at Serenity: Sensory Regulation with the Help of Horses (ages 8-11 years)

This unique 4-week group combines Occupational Therapy and Equine Assisted Learning to create a fun sensory experience at Serenity Stables in Galena, Ohio. This group will focus on self regulation and sensory strategies while engaging one on one with horses. Each session will include experiential learning while remaining on the ground and interacting with the horses. Sessions will teach self-regulation skills, calming and coping techniques, body awareness, and be enriched with sensory exploration such as grooming, feeding, and leading horses. Working with the horses is a great way to learn sensory regulation strategies, build confidence, improve self awareness and have a great time. Caregivers are to remain onsite for the series. This group is designed and led by an Occupational Therapist from Flourish Therapy and Life Coach/Equine Professional from Hope Anew. Spots are limited!

Offered Saturdays (9/21, 10/5, 10/12) from 9:00- 11:00.

$270/ series of 3 classes.

** This group is running but will be beginning one week later on Sat, Sept 21st, 9:00-11:00 due to unexpected circumstances. The instructors have been sending out emails and calling parents enrolled. TUESDAY

 

Club Social Celebration II–Ages 11-14 (Ages flexible)

This weekly 8-week group focuses on age-appropriate social skills, group collaboration and participation, listening skills, question asking/answering, leadership and friendship building. This session will also have a strong focus on team work skills. This group will target higher-level executive function skills, perspective taking, and the “hidden rules” of language. Led by two Speech-Language Pathologists.

Club Social Celebration: Social Detectives Edition –Ages 7-10 (Ages flexible)

Come join us for an 8-week group based on Michelle Garcia Winner’s Social-Thinking teachings. This evidence-based curriculum is used to teach students social communication skills in order to improve their daily lives at school, home, and community. Each week students will learn how to be “flexible thinkers” in different situations, understand others’ perspectives, and learn what is “expected” and “unexpected.” Students will have the opportunity to become “social detectives” to understand social aspects of our world. Led by two Speech-Language Pathologists.

WEDNESDAY

 

Club Social Celebration: Junior Classic Edition –Ages 4-6

This group is designed to increase social-language skills in young children. Many children demonstrate difficulties playing with others, continuing conversations, and being a productive listener in a group setting. CSC Junior is a weekly 8-week group that focuses on fostering these skills via interactive games, structured activities, and team building tasks. Join us for a fun filled, positive social experience. Led by an Occupational Therapist and a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Club Social Celebration: #TeenLife –Ages 14-17 **Once Per Month September- April**

You asked for it, so here it is! A group specifically for our teenagers. This once monthly group will meet out in the community to have relaxed and low-key talks. From social media, to making friends, to navigating high school, your teeth will meet peers, make friends, and discuss teen topics. Monthly outings will be planned and an agenda will be provided.

Club Social Celebration: Little Boppers Edition—Ages 2.5-3.11

This group was created for young children who are receiving early intervention services. Taught by a team of Speech-Language Pathologists, our instructors work with families who want to help their child increase receptive/expressive language, articulation, and/or social language skills. Each week is theme-based to bolster vocabulary through song, books, crafts, and free play.
