We offer a variety of effective, functional and fun group programs through our integrated team.  Our groups are uniquely designed and held by licensed and certified professionals in the area of Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Literacy Support, Art Therapy, Feeding, and Counseling.

We offer Group Programming for children of all abilities, focusing on skill development through play and fun.  Our skilled professionals have designed groups that assist with social, speech, language, feeding, gross and fine motor, and sensory development in an engaging group setting.

MONDAY

Club Social Celebration: Little Boppers Edition – Ages 2.5-3.5

This group was created for young children who are receiving early intervention services or interested in practicing social language skills with same aged peers. Taught by a certified Speech Language Pathologist and Occupational Therapist, our instructors work directly with families who want to help their child increase receptive/expressive language, articulation, motor skills and/or help ease the transition into preschool. Each week is theme-based to bolster vocabulary through song, books, crafts, and free play.

Instructors: Joselyn and Yoli

9:00-10:00 am – Runs September 14th – October 19th

Cost: $225

 

Handwriting Group– Ages 6-9 (Please contact us with older or younger ages)

Get ready for back to school with our handwriting group! The focus of this group is getting student’s writing skills ready with exercises to work on arm/core strength and motor planning, hand strengthening to improve pencil grip and legibility of letters, preparatory writing exercises, working on vertical surfaces such as the white board for shoulder stability, and improving the ability to copy from a far point model. We will focus on line use, spacing and letter formation throughout the class through structured handwriting activities and age appropriate games involving handwriting. Taught and designed by our certified Flourish Occupational Therapy Team.

5:30-6:30 pm – Runs September 14th – October 19th

TUESDAY

Club Social Celebration: Junior Classic Edition- Ages 4-6

This group is designed to increase social-language skills in young children. Many children demonstrate difficulties playing with others, continuing conversations, and being a productive listener in a group setting. CSC Junior is tailored to focus on fostering these skills via interactive games, structured activities, and team building tasks. Join us for a fun filled, positive social experience. Led by two certified Speech-Language Pathologists.

4:45-5:45 pm – Runs September 15th – October 20th

Club Social Celebration: Social Detectives Edition- Ages 7-10 (Ages flexible)

Come join us for a Flourish favorite! Based on Michelle Garcia Winner’s Social Thinking teachings this group teaches students social communication skills in order to improve their daily lives at school, home, and community. Each week students will learn and practice how to be “flexible thinkers” in a variety of situations by understanding others’ perspectives and distinguishing between both “expected” and “unexpected” behaviors. Students will be empowered as “social detectives” to understand social aspects of our world. Led by two certified Speech-Language Pathologists.

5:00-6:00 pm – Runs September 15th – October 20th

THURSDAY

Club Social Celebration: Big Boppers Edition – Ages 3.6-4.6

Looking for a group that works on everything for your child? This group is a spin on our classic Little Boppers group, but for older kids. This group resembles a pre-school type of environment with a weekly theme-based session targeting vocabulary and language through songs, books, crafts, and free play. Taught by a team of certified Speech-Language Pathologists, our instructors work directly with families, tailoring the group to the needs of each child, and providing ideas for carryover at home.

Instructors: Joselyn and Victoria

9:00-10:00 am – Runs September 17th – October 22nd
