Rebecca Hoffman

Speech Language Pathologist

I obtained my B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Ohio State University and my M.A. in Speech Language Pathology from Ohio University. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Ohio licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. I have worked in many settings including schools, outpatient pediatric clinics, nursing homes, hospitals, and home health.  I  have called Columbus, Ohio home all my life. I have a deep affection for my city and the people who live here. I love working with a variety of disorders including articulation and phonological disorders, AAC, social pragmatic skills and pediatric feeding.

I believe how every child learns  is unique, and therefore it is important to learn every child’s interests and passions so they are engaged in therapy. Additionally, I believe involving family members and approaching each child’s therapy from a holistic perspective is the key to fostering successful communication. I am thrilled to join this interdisciplinary team of talented therapists at Flourish!
