We offer a variety of effective, functional and fun group programs through our integrated team.  Our groups are uniquely designed and held by licensed and certified professionals in the area of Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Art Therapy, Feeding, and Music.

We offer Group Programming for children of all abilities, focusing on skill development through play and fun.  Our skilled professionals have designed groups that assist with social, speech, language, feeding, gross and fine motor, and sensory development in an engaging group setting.

TUESDAY

Club Social Celebration I- Social Detectives Edition –Ages 8-10

Come join us for an 8-week group based on Michelle Garcia Winner’s Social Thinking curriculum. This evidence-based curriculum is used to teach students social communication skills in order to improve their daily lives at school, home, and community. Each week students will learn how to be “flexible thinkers” in different situations, understand others’ perspectives, and to learn what is “expected” vs. “unexpected.” Students will have the opportunity to become “social detectives” to understand social aspects of our world. Led by a Speech-Language Pathologist.

5:00-6:00pm – Runs September 18- November 6 (8 weeks)

Club Social Celebration: Classic Edition: II –Ages 11-14

Our most popular social skills group! This weekly 8-week group focuses on age-appropriate social skills, group collaboration and participation, listening skills, question asking/answering, leadership and friendship building. This group will target higher-level executive function skills, perspective taking, and the “hidden rules” of language. Participants of this group help to design group activities based on what is important to them in their daily lives.

WEDNESDAY

Club Social Celebration: Junior Classic Edition – Ages 5-7 **Note different start date**

This group is designed to increase social-language skills in young children. Many children demonstrate difficulties playing with others, continuing conversations, and being a productive listener in a group setting. CSC Junior is a weekly 8-week group that focuses on these skills via interactive games, structured activities, and team building tasks. A team of Speech-Language Pathologists co-lead this group. Join us for a fun filled, positive social experience!

5:00-6:00om – Runs September 12- November 7 (8 weeks. *There will be no class Oct. 31 for Trick-or-Treat)

THURSDAY

Club Social Celebration: Little Boppers Edition – Ages: 2.5-3.11

This group was created for young children who are receiving early intervention services. Taught by a team of Speech-Language Pathologists, our instructors work with families who want to help their child increase receptive/expressive language, articulation, and/or social language skills. Each week is theme-based to bolster vocabulary through song, books, crafts, and free play.

9:00-10:00am – Runs September 20- November 8 (8 weeks)

Mighty Storytellers – Ages 7-9

This group is designed for children who are working to increase expression. Students will engage in a fun, interactive way to tell and write stories. Story grammar elements (characters, setting, plot, conclusion, etc) will be taught utilizing a curriculum that follows the Story Grammar Marker. Designed by a Speech-Language Pathologist an Occupational Therapist.

SUMMER BOOT CAMPS!

Handwriting Boot Camp- Starts in August! Handwriting/Print Boot Camp – Ages: 6-9 Please contact us with older and younger ages – Cost: $225

Get ready for back-to-school with our intense, yet fun “boot camp” for handwriting. This group will meet three times per week for two weeks. Students will get back into the groove of writing while working on hand strengthening, stamina, and proper writing techniques. Designed and led by two Occupational Therapists.

Monday-Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm—Dates: July 30, 31, August 1, and August 6, 7, 8, 2018—Instructors: Denise and Beth

 

Handwriting/Cursive Boot Camp – Ages: 10+ – Cost: $225

Get ready for back-to-school with this intense, yet fun “boot camp” for cursive writing. This group will meet three times per week for two weeks. Students will get back into the groove of writing while working on hand strengthening, stamina, and proper writing techniques. Cursive is not a lost art! It’s crucial. Designed and led by two Occupational Therapists.
