Hello! I am a speech-language pathologist who has worked at Flourish since the summer of 2013. I achieved a Bachelors degree in Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences from Ohio University in 2010 and a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Akron in 2012. I also received an Assistive Technology Certificate from Bowling Green State University in May 2016.

I currently hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association, state licensure from the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, as well as an educational license from the Ohio Department of Education to practice speech-language pathology in the school setting. My clinical background includes working with clients in schools, home care, long-term care, and outpatient clinics. My professional interests include expressive and receptive language delays, articulation and phonology disorders, autism spectrum disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and social language impairments.

I believe in an integrated approach to therapy, including professional collaboration and working closely with the child’s families and support teams to maximize the child’s success across settings. I believe in incorporating my client’s current skills, strengths and personal interests to guide therapy content and support the clinical approach to intervention. I strive to provide therapy in a manner that is consistent with developmental research and to make an impact that reaches beyond the clinical setting. I love watching my clients grow and FLOURISH! By increasing their independence and successfully utilizing their acquired communication skills into a meaningful, natural environment!
